In this story Amanda and Leo are born on the same day at the same hospital. Their parents met at a hospital 11 years ago. They talked for awhile and said there goodbye’s. Is it crazy to you that the next year they see each other on Leo and Amanda’s birthday? To me it seems like a crazy coincidence. After that day they had their birthdays together ever since. On their 10th birthday Amanda goes into the house and overhears Leo with his friends. His friends ask him if he’s still going to have his birthday with her and he says that he thinks it’s weird. Amanda runs out of the house in tears and wants to leave. This is the only year Amanda doesn’t have her party with Leo. It’s hard for her. Amanda is having a Hollywood themed party and has to wear an itchy dress from The Wizard of Oz. But on the other side of town leo has a hypnotist, a football star, a giant iguana, and a rock band. So not fair! Amanda can’t wait for her birthday to be over. The next morning she’s all confused when her alarm goes off. And that the spongebob balloon her parents put in there yesterday morning which she shoved in her closet the last night is back where it was the last morning. She thinks it’s all a little prank until it happens again the next morning. What's happening? Since there’s only one book in the series we all know she gets out of this time loop. But how? Let’s just say it has something to do with an apple tree!

The main character, Amanda faces her birthday eleven times with a friend, Leo before they find a way to fix their problem. They have to work together and forget about he fight they had a year ago. They meet an enchantress who bestowed a spell on them that they must hold every birthday together or else they will have to repeat the day of their birthday until they did.
