Yes. Inkheart is a real book; written by Cornelia Funke.
In fact, it is a trilogy.
Inkheart
Inkspell
Inkdeath
Because Inkheart is different in the book than it is in real life. In the book, its a fiction story and in real life it is a fiction story about a fiction story, two different things.
Holes is a fake movie. Its based on a book :P
No, there is no ferret in the Inkheart series by Cornelia Funke. The story revolves around characters who possess the ability to bring characters from books into the real world.
Although in the movie, the penguins are real the book and movie is not based on real life or anything that happened in real life.
Yes, unique and very well written.Book description by Borders: "Description: One cruel night, Meggie's father reads aloud from a book called "Inkheart," and an evil ruler escapes the boundaries of fiction and lands in their living room. Suddenly, Meggie is smack in the middle of the kind of adventure she has only read about in books"vultrae:im only ten and i like it its so good! basta is so mean! One of the greatest books of all time(Except for Harry Potter.)Inkheart is a brilliant story filled with imagination an love. There are three books to the series, Inkheart, Inkspell, and Inkdeath. It is about a girl who lives with her father in a cluttered and unorganized household until they have to flee and head south from the evil Capricorn. Personally I think it's a little slow at the beginning, but it gets better towards the middle, so don't turn away from the book! :O-Misty Woods Library Reviews
NO it's not based on the real life happenings in Sierra Leone
Well that depends on what you enjoy. I loved the entire Inkheart trilogy. Inkheart takes place in the real world, where Inkspell introduces many new characters and is set inside of the book Capricorn amd Dustfinger are from. Inkspell ends on a note of suspense, so one would have to read Inkdeath, the third installment of the series.
The movie Jarhead was a 2005 movie that was based on Marine Anthony Swofford's book. What probably gets you is that the movie is so relatable to most people because it is based on a real life experience.
no its not! its based on a book from an author. if it was real that would have been the sadest thing ever! i hated the part when the kid died!
The main antagonist is Capricorn, the main "villain" that Mo read out of the fictional Inkheart novel; as well as his henchmen Basta, Flatnose and many others. Thanks to the simplistic style of the fictional Inkheart, the "bad guys" in Inkheart all wore black clothing.
Mo's magic voice brings books to life. He was reading Inkheart one night, and Dustfinger, Capricorn, and Basta came out. Mo's wife Resa disappeared into the book also 2 of their cats that were in resa's lap at the time were also in the book. Meggie also has the ability to read things out of books. if you have seen the movie but not read the book, not much is right in the movie like how meggie writes everyone back into their own book and dustfinger does not go back in the book he stays with frarid.
No. it's a movie based on a book of fiction. therefore, it did not happen in real life.
