The plot cannot be described as a falling action, nor as a climax or a rising action. A plot has a falling action (the point of the story when the problems are being resolved). The falling action of Ella Enchanted is when they finally stopped the Prince's uncle from killing his nephew and from taking over the kingdom, and when Ella and Prince Charmont (I'm not sure how it is spelled) get married.
The climax (the most important point) is when the uncle wants Ella to kill the love of her life.
Rising action is when Ella decides to look for her godmother.
Exposition is when the characters are introduced, and explain Ella's beginning with her gift of obedience. Hope it helped.

Progress of the plot is rising action. The unfolding of it is the falling action.

The last two pieces of a plot are the falling action and the resolution. The falling action occurs after the climax and shows the consequences of the climax, leading towards the resolution where the main conflict is resolved and loose ends are tied up.

Rising Action, also called the Development, develops the plot and the characters based on what happens in the Inciting Incident. The Falling Action or Crisis develops the plot and characters in relation to a change in the course of the plot sometimes called the Reversal, sometimes referred to as the Technical Climax.

The element that typically comes after the falling action in a basic plot structure is the resolution or denouement. This is where the final outcome or conclusion of the story is revealed, and loose ends are tied up.
