Wind and weather, well can related to the Supernatural- also warlike themes ( such as Desert Storm, Walking in the rain ( song comes on with an artillery barrage of l05's) - story does not relate to warfare- but is on the impossible side of fantasy- supernatural in that sense. I never liked the story and felt it had very deep homosexual overtones.

It is essentially an animal cartoon written as a novel. I have read exercepts of it dragged into grammar and high school literature classes. It is unusual in being an animal cartoon written as a novel. The only other one- intended mainly for adults was ( Where the Blue Begins) by Christopher Morley. It deals with the adventures of a canine yacht club , yes, literal sea dogs. The idea of animal Cartoons is fine and fun for kids but runs out of steam in novel form, at least to me.

I never could figure out the title. Unlilke some weather analogies ( desert storm, Walking in the Rain) it does not refer to war. Might mean something like a Breath of Fresh air. the phrase is also found in one of the songs of Fats Domino ( Blueberry Hill).
