A porcupine
because of the mosquitoes on the first night.
Brian got attacked by a porcupine in "Hatchet" because he accidentally came too close to it while trying to catch it for food. The porcupine felt threatened and defended itself with its quills, causing Brian to get hurt.
nocturnal hunter...... im sure that's what i heard....
Coyotes may hunt day or night. They can be heard howling during night time hours,
Some examples of imagery in "Hatchet" include descriptions of the lush wilderness, the intense heat of the sun beating down on Brian, the gnawing hunger he experiences, and the detailed portrayal of the various wildlife he encounters. These vivid imagery helps to create a strong sense of Brian's environment and state of mind throughout the story.
it says on the book that its night and morning.
The one by Gary Paulsen? It makes you pity Brian and be glad you aren't him I guess? I haven't read the whole thing yet because we're doing it in a group at school and can only read a certain amount of chapters each night.
Yes.Dan is still alive from the twisters
Brain knows about his parents. He is on a plane and is scared. He tries to fly the plane and thought it was easy. He is then in another plane and the pilot has a heart attack. He is alone and doesn't know what to do.
The Resolution to Hatchet is when Brian gets the survival pack and inside is a radio transmit er he pushes buttons and thinks it is broken but it sends a message to a plane flying over and he is saved
Possoms are nocturnal (active at night)
A boy gets lost on his way flying a plane to his dad's house. The Pilot had had a heart attack , and they crashed. He made his throughout the wilderness, and something happens but I can't tell you what it is you have to READ IT. But basically it's just about him surviving. At first he only had a hatchet, that's why they call it hatchet. But he finds more tools along the way. It's a GREAT book. :))))
