What happens in chapters 10-15 of Touching Spirit Bear?

The bear attacks him and then he is injured his bones are broken, his one arm is broken. The mother bird brings food for the baby birds. Cole wants to standup. He starts thinking about the birds that why is the mother feeding the babies why dont she feed herself. Then the bear comes back.

In chapter 13 of Touching Spirit Bear, Cole is with Nurse Rosey in the city of Drake, but is unable to get to a hospital. He tells of a story of a real spirit bear that he saw on the island, but no one will believe him.

Cole is finally good enough to come out of hospital and then his mom visits. Garvey tells Cole that there is a circle justice meeting and wants to know if Cole wants to go. They went to the circle justice meeting and they talked about Cole. No one knew about the sparrow's, storm, or that he had touched the spirit bear though. Edwin joined the circle and then they asked Cole to talk. They asked why they shouldn't transfer Cole's case back to the court system for prosecution and sentencing.

In chapters 10-15 of "Touching Spirit Bear," Cole continues to undergo his healing journey on the island. He struggles with his inner demons and confronts his past traumas. He starts to embrace the lessons taught to him by the Spirit Bear and begins to make peace with himself and others.
