I'd say theme is one of acceptance, and of every person's desire to find someone with whom they can associate. Sorry if that's a tad purple, but it makes sense: Raven is the only person in her entire town who isn't a shallow, popularity-chasing "prep," with the sole exception of her (vampire) boyfriend, Alexander. The only time we really see anyone else remotely like either of them is in "Hipsterville," they are that out of place.
Alternatively, there's always the more obvious theme of teenage love.

The theme of the Hershey's Kisses Christmas commercial is the joy and magic of the holiday season, as symbolized by the iconic Hershey's Kisses bells playing "We Wish You a Merry Christmas." The commercial conveys a message of love, togetherness, and the spirit of giving during this festive time of year.
