The boy met a teacher and the teacher said he would teach the boy how to learn. 7. One day the boy saw a speck over the hill and sounder started whining. The boys dad had returned home. The dad was dragging his leg and his body was all torn up because of a dynamite blast. Sounder and the boy were both happy to see him. 8. One day Sounder came back home without his master from hunting. The boy went to look for his dad and the boy found his dad on the ground the boy tried to wake him up but found out the dad was dead. 9. A couple weeks later Sounder crawled under the porch and layed there to die. I know that is more than 4 main events but there the most important things that happened in the book Sounder. I about cried because it was a very sad book to read. I am hoping to get the movie on DVD and watch and still not cry Thank You,
