Glad you mentioned Saalfield ( usually pronounced in US- Sal- afield!) sure he is ( God is everywhere!) sorry about the pun. I believe the film ( Toby TYler) came out originally in l959. odd the same year- for a quite different audience- The elusive Saalfield Cells ( celluloids) were mastered for a paper doll book- as they were called on Gina Lollobrigida. By the way, she was in the circus film- Trapeze, no Monkeys in that one! It is not qute clear (maybe there were different versions) whether the monkey Mr. Tubbs ( not stubs) actually died in the Tyler film. I seem to recall he did, Kid took it bad.
