What you do next is to finish the book.Once you have a complete book, you edit it until it's the very best you can get - that means letting several people read it and tell you what they think is good and what is bad and then fixing the bad stuff and rewriting as much as you need until it's a great book. Then, you get the latest issue of Writer's Market and start looking for agents and/or publishers. Many publishers won't even look at a book unless you have an agent, so it might be best to try to find a good agent for your book first. While you wait to hear back from the agent and/or publisher, write another book ... and another and another and just keep going.
