A threshold inspector is a certified building inspector who works for a consulting / engineering firm. If a building exceeds either a height, square footage, or occupancy load, the client usually funding the project is required by law to hire a threshold inspector. In addition to performing structural inspections, a threshold inspector will oversee certain activities during building such as pouring concrete and post tensioning. Threshold inspectors can be considered a form of quality control seeing that the are hired by the developers and not the general contractor, therefore not having to answer to the GC.

Is rebate on pf inclusive in minimum slab of 160000?

No, the rebate on the provident fund (PF) is not included in the minimum slab of ₹160,000. The minimum slab typically refers to the income threshold for tax calculations, while rebates on contributions to PF are considered separately. Therefore, the rebate is an additional benefit that does not affect the minimum slab limit for taxation.

What is pour card in civil engineering?

In larger concrete projects with a good quality control program, a pour card is a document that describes the location of the concrete being poured, type/specification of concrete being supplied, a signature block by the inspector and/or engineer indicating that the rebar has been inspected in-place and approved, date of pour, serial number of the concrete truck(s) supplying the concrete, sign-off by the inspector indicating on-site tests for slump and air entrainment (if required) have been completed. Temperature, weather and ticket info from the concrete batch plant/delivery truck are also recorded. The contractor's quality assurance manager will typically keep all the pour cards for a project on file, especially in the even that subsequent testing indicates substandard concrete was installed.
