Engineers are field specific i.e. Electrical ,mechanical, civil etc. but they use some basic tools and some specific tools. most of them are Software based tools.
e.g
Electrical - MATLAB, OCTAVE, PSPICE , STEP7, C++(lang), Microcontroller, Arduino , Digital multimeter, microcontroller burner, etc
Mechanical- AutoCAD, ProE, MATLAB, etc
Civil - AutoCAD, Pro E, surveying tools, MATLAB, etc.
dynamics is basically subject which is more useful in mechanical engg but nowadays when earthquake design of building has gained importance, we, the civil engineers use the dynamic study for the structures to get help regarding earthquake design
Both mechanical engineering and civil engineering basically deal with mechanics - studies of forces and their effects over a stationary body or a body in motion. Mechanical engineers, as the name suggests, use principles of mechanics as well as thermodynamics to design machines like steam engines, petrol engines, diesel engines, boilers, etc. Whereas a civil engineer uses principles of mechanics as well as the knowledge of properties of materials to design buildings, dams, bridges, harbors, airports etc.
The highest academic qualifications in civil engineering are the PhD or EngD (Doctor of Philosophy or Doctor of Engineering in Civil Engineering respectively). The highest professional qualification depends on the country. In the UK this is Chartered Engineer status and the individual will also be either a Member or Fellow of the Institution of Civil Engineers (MICE / FICE), or Institution of Structural Engineers (MIStrucE / FIStrucE). In the US, a professional engineer will be granted Professional Engineer status (and is entitled to use the post-nominal letters PE).
The use of logic in civil engineering
The term "civil" can be used in various contexts. It often refers to behaviors or interactions that are polite and respectful, as in "Please remain civil during the discussion." It can also relate to matters of citizenship or the state, such as in "civil rights" or "civil law." Additionally, it may describe non-military aspects of society, as in "civil engineering."
Some of the tools Civil People are , auto cad, 3d-home architect and so on
They use a variety of different tools, etc. a lab:)
Civil engineers do use jackhammers to break-up old roads and put down new ones.
bombs guns and pistols
{| |- | Civil Engineers in today's world use computers and calculators. They validate plans and lay out the blueprints for the buildings and roads and other things being built. They rely heavily on surveys and soil samples in creation of their plans. Transits, laser range finders are also common tools. |}
