The reproductive strategies of the fey-folk can vary greatly, even within the many species. Most fairies are Oviparous while a few are Oviviporous and some Viviparous (both placential and marsupial).

Among the Elves, most are Viviparous but there are a few who are Oviparous. For example, anybody who has watched 'The Wizard of Oz' knows that the Munchkins are Oviparous.
