If you get hit in the bare skin maybe. I play airsoft with guys who have airsoft guns the shoot anywhere from 300-500fps. It really just depends on where the bb hits you. It usually does not hurt.
yes they can i have had many hits from airsoft guns that have broken skin but they where from arenas and shot from higher FPS guns but normally they don't.
In my opinion airsoft wars do not hurt but yet I play paintball. But it really matter what fps the airsoft gun is and how close they are to you and if they are shooting you once. But really airsoft does't pack a punch in the hit it just stings a little bit.
Getting shot by anything is not an experience you want.
You should not need two jackets to play airsoft, one should be fine. It may sting a bit, but it is better than being sweaty and slow.
If you get hit by a airsoft pellet you should seek medical attention at a hospital immediately. Chances are you lost sight in your eye. :( You should never get hit in the eye. Always wear eye and mouth protection to prevent blindness and the chipping of teeth.
im not really sure i understand the quesiton but if your asking if it hurts... not at all once your used to it it doesnt hurt at all, but for first timers its most offten seen as a hard pinch, not quite a bee sting. it will sting for a bit if you get hit on bare skin but that's about it
It's not the sport that matters but how you play it. If you are stupid and don't wear masks then neither of them are safe. Paintballs hurt worse but in airsoft you get hit much more often. In paintball after about your second game you get used to getting hit and it doesn't hurt as bad. The same thing goes for airsoft. But when you think about it airsoft runs off batteries and paintball runs off of Co2 and HpA. So the only way you couldn't be safe in paintball is by not following the rules and not keeping good care of your gun parts and tanks. Hope this helps a little......Personally i play paintball. Send me a message if you have any more questions. Noobhelper 2 Paintball and airsoft are both safe if you know what you are doing and follow safety rules. If the question is what hurts worse, paintball will usually tend to sting more, but airsoft guns can vary in fps, (feet per second), and paintball guns have a set fps speed that fields will only allow (a limit), so you may run into airsoft guns that hurt worse than others, and paintball guns won't vary too much.
It's something which could potentially happen, but isn't likely to when hit with airsoft pellets.
Regular .177 Caliber BB's can penetrate skin. 6MM plastic AirSoft BB will most likely not penetrate but can burse you. .177 Cal BB can attain a speed of 500 Feet Per Second (FPS) and do personal damage or injury and in the right circumstance may kill someone. Airsoft is designed to not do lasting injury to a person but getting hit in the face will hurt. Pellet Rifles & Guns are designed to penetrate and are capable of injury or death. They can attain a speed of 1200 FPS or greater and are used for hunting.
A bruise is bleeding under the skin. You've been hit so hard that small blood vessels in your tissue has torn apart.
Rain doesn't hurt when it falls from the sky because the water droplets are very small and light, so they don't have enough force to cause pain when they hit our skin.
