How do you Change the battery in your waltham watch?

My daughter has a Waltham WRF08 watch. In the corner, is a little ledge off of which you can lever off the back of the watch. This is an el-cheapo Walmart watch. It levers off with a medium-small jeweler's screwdriver. The battery has a single grounding spring holding it place; positive pole at bottom. Just pop out and replace; taking care not to break the grounding spring.

take it out and then put a new one in.

This wach has a solid gold case, you can not open the bottom. So taking it out and putting another one in is not quite as simple as your answer may seem.
