There was no R.C. Victor who named the Victrola. The Victrola was actually named by Eldridge R. Johnson, the founder of the Victor Talking Machine Company, which later became RCA Victor.
RCA Records (originally The Victor Talking Machine Company, then RCA Victor) is one of the flagship labels of Sony Music Entertainment. The RCA initials stand for Radio Corporation of America (later renamed RCA Corporation), which was the parent corporation from 1929 to 1985 and a partner from 1985 to 1986

What is the value of a Victor Adding Machine, Model 7 57 54, Serial # 3425-389
Sure! I actually have just been learning about them, having just purchased a VV-215 model myself. The VV-215 if a Victor Talking Machine made 1923-24, the second number (8756) is, as I understand it, a unique serial number for your unit (mine is 13579). A great resource for more information on this model, and victrolas in general is www.victor-victrola.com.
