Anwer The typical muzzleloader will accurately shoot about 150 yards. For hunting, I would not fire at a game more than 100 yards or closer, if possible. The older guns such as the Brown Bess fired a .69 caliber round ball that was veryinaccurate---so much that the gun didn't have sights. The round ball developes extreme aerodynamic drag as it goes through the air so this means it slows down much faster. It means that the shooter has to aim higher than the target. Muzzleloaders that have rifling, such as the Pennyslvania/Kentucky Rifle, imparts a spin to the ball and this makes it go farther and more accurately. Modern mozzle loaders fire synthetic powder and connical bullets set in a sabot. These guns may shoot at longer range. There were target rifles made that were used by military snipers and professional shooters that could shoot much further. I think there is a report of a Civil War sniper who shot someone at 1 mile (1760 Yards) range. Longer shots were made but the percentage that scored a hit was small.
You need to seek the services of a good gunsmith.
A .50 caliber muzzleloader can accurately shoot a 250 grain bullet typically up to 100-150 yards, depending on factors like the shooter's skill, the specific muzzleloader's design, and environmental conditions. With proper loading, sighting, and conditions, some experienced shooters may achieve effective accuracy at distances beyond 200 yards, but this is less common. Accuracy diminishes significantly beyond these ranges due to bullet drop and wind drift.
They are both firearms. However, they can be different as far as loading procudures go
some shoot far and some dont so they all dont shoot the same length
Very far
how far does a 50 caliber sniper rifle shoot accuratly
Type of action has nothing to do with how far a weapon will shoot. Caliber and load is what matters.
yes
ALOT!
How far will it shoot and hit something??? i wouldn't put it past 300 - 400 yards comfortably
They can shoot as far away as they want. There have been successful shots at well over a mile.
It can shoot 30 or 35 feet normally.
