It depends on what condition it's in, how old it is, and how rare it is. I wouldn't expect them to be worth much in most cases, though. You should take the particular piece you've got to a dealer for an estimate.
This may seem weird, but "collectibles" usually don't appreciate much, because they're bought by, well, collectors. The things that appreciate are throwaway things intended for kids, who didn't store them in hermetically sealed climate-controlled vaults.... they took the Baseball cards and stuck them in their bicycle spokes, or colored in the comic books, or played with and broke the toys, so the few surviving examples in good condition are both a) rare and b) remembered fondly. Nobody remembers Precious Moments figurines fondly; they bought them as keepsakes and put them away/on a shelf, so for any given piece there are probably lots of them still in good condition and it's quite likely that anyone who wants that piece already has it.

Many of the small figurines are worth around $20 each. The exact price will vary depending upon their condition.
The David Grossman Figurines and Plates are worth much more to a "collector" than a broker. I believe it has a lot to due with the serial number and the condition of the piece.
