It depends whether it was struck in a precious metal, and if so, which one. If it is gold, then it will be worth at least the current gold price for its weight, although it is too soon for it to have increased in value as a collectable commemorative item. That can take many years.

As an example, it would be reasonable to think that mugs crafted for the Coronation of King Edward VII, bearing the intended date, 26th May, 1902, which didn't take place because the King became ill with appendicitis on 24th May, and the Coronation was delayed until Autumn, would be sought-after items with a rarety value. In fact they are worth a mere £5-10, according to condition.
