Possibly--some used stamps are very rare and very valuable. Some collectors prefer used stamps, especially ones that are still on their envelopes with all the postal markings.

Most stamps are worth more unused, but there are a lots of exceptions-- in some cases governments sold unused stamps to collectors in large quantities, but very few were actually used , or even available for postage.
