When it comes to private mints like the Pobjoy Mint, Franklin Mint and National Collector's Mints, there is little value in the coins except for the metal value of the coins. And no, most likely every coin released in that set used the name Diana Spencer on the coin. The coins are worth their metal value only, unless you can find a collector who is willing to pay a premium.
debt collector
there is no scientific name for it .it is just a badge collector.
I bought this coin when I was in Canada after seeing a TV promotion. Leter I searched the web to get information on that "rare 1911 cook island" coin. To my surprise there was no information whatsoever in the web! Was there really a rare 1911 cook island coin ? The replica coin was purported to be sold by NATIONAL COLLECTOR'S MINT. But there is no reference of this coin in their web site. Is this a hoax played by someone to make quick money by mis-using the name of NATIONAL COLLECTOR'S MINT ?
Hat collectorThat's a good question. I've heard of dozens of specialized words for the collectors of this, that, and the other thing, but there may be no word for a hat collector. There's even a word for people who collect beer mats (coasters) -- that's a tegestologist -- but I don't know the word for hat collector. Of course, a milliner is a hat maker/seller, but that's not what you're looking for, I'm sure. This may be your opportunity to coin a new word!As nobody has claimed this title, I hereby declare that the new name for a collector of hats is a "Nowakologist"
