The Tell City Chair Co. rocking chair pattern P804, known as the Paxton model, was produced starting in the late 20th century, specifically around the 1970s. To determine its exact age, you would need to check for specific marks or labels on the chair, as well as any historical documentation or catalogs from the company. If you have any records or a sales receipt, that could also provide insight into its age.
The Hopkins and Allen company was founded in 1868 then merged with the Forehand Arms Co in 1901. Out of business by 1917.
