The value of a 200 lire Repubblica Italiana gold coin from 1998 in excellent condition typically ranges between $100 to $200, depending on factors such as market demand and gold prices. Additionally, collector interest can influence its value. It's advisable to consult a professional coin dealer or numismatist for a precise appraisal.
The U.S. mint did not produce a gold coin in 1979.
The US Mint struck no gold coins in 1979, please look at the coin again and post new question.
The value of a 1954 Italian Repubblica Lira 5 gold coin can vary based on its condition, rarity, and current market demand for gold. As of my last update, such coins typically range from $200 to $500, but prices can fluctuate. For the most accurate valuation, it's advisable to consult a numismatic expert or check current listings from reputable coin dealers.
This is NOT a U.S. Mint product. No gold coins were struck from 1933 until 1986. Also the U.S. Mint has never struck a gold $100.00 coin.
The 1979 2 New Pence coin is not made of gold; it is composed of copper-plated steel. The coin was introduced as part of the decimalization of British currency and has a distinct design featuring a stylized image of a rose. While it may have some collectible value, its metal composition does not include gold.
The value of a 1979 Canada Elizabeth gold coin, often referred to as a gold maple leaf, primarily depends on its gold content, condition, and market demand. As of October 2023, the coin contains 1 ounce of pure gold, and its value generally tracks the current market price of gold, which fluctuates. Additionally, collectors may pay a premium for coins in excellent condition or with specific mint marks. For an accurate valuation, it's advisable to check current gold prices and consult with a numismatic expert or reputable coin dealer.
Please check the coin again, Susan B. Anthony first appered on the 1979 one dollar coin, with a date of 1924 the coin is a Peace dollar and they were never struck in gold. The last year a gold US one dollar coin was made was 1889.

1986 not 1976. The coin is a 1/10oz American Eagle Gold Bullion Coin and the vaule is a little less than the spot price of gold at time of sale. As of today about $100.00
It isn't silver, it isn't gold. All Susan B Anthony coins are copper-nickel, someone might have added gold plating to the coin which doesn't do anything to increase the value and is viewed as damage to the coin by collectors. Your coin is only worth $1.
"Eagle" generally refers to a $10 gold coin, but those were not minted in 1979. The only coin bigger than a half dolar, minted in 1979, is the Susan B. Anthony Dollar. Is that what you have? If it's a double headed coin, then it's a novelty item, not made by the Mint, worth a couple dollars. Dan
