abolitionist hobbies were to save or help the slaves from where most were and were some were going. their main goal was to act like they were helping the owner of the slaves and they would really be making contact with the slaves and setting up plans with the slaves and making escape plans and once the plan took place they would meet the slaves somewhere to start their journey to the promise land which was the land where slave were no longer slaves they were free, but the owner of the slaves could somehow come find them and if they recognized them they would prove that this was their slave and take them back to their slavery days. all this a proven fact because i had to learn and study this for about three months in my 6/7th grade social studies class in stupid Mrs. ugly hill
