it is a doll that looks so realistic.you have to feed it real formula in a real bottle and change the real diaper. you order it online;then you read the care insroctions (wich i am basicly discribing)and real clothes.and so on...so its basicly,its a real baby.(but with no life).

Reborn Babies are dolls made out of vinyl or sometimes polymer clay (ooak babies) and are made to look very lifelike. They have hand rooted hair plastic hair and sometimes even peirced ears. They vary in length and weight some you even have to support their heads! I have a reborn doll from Bradford.co.UK its an Ashton Drake and cost £120 (not cheap) some even price up to around £1,000. These dolls are also very delicate and collectable. There was a programme on Channel4 called 'my fake baby' where women push them around in prams change their nappies and take them shopping i would love to do that but would be nervous and scared of the looks i would get.

A reborn baby is a doll kit, (includes limbs, body, head etc) which has been put together and then painted professionally by a reborn doll artist. Eyes will be added, eyelashes, eyebrows and sometimes hair. The artist's may paint life-like features such as veins, blotchy skin, red baby marks etc. When the reborn baby is finished it will look real, like a life-like baby.
