It's a presidential dollar, minted in 2010, and it's worth one dollar.
no did not get my money back, did anyone else???
That is the symbol for Gorham silver. Perhaps you found Patent 1895 on the back of silverware.
Look on the back side. If there is a small O or S under the eagle's tail feathers your coin might retail for $200 to $250. If there is no letter, you should have it authenticated by a dealer.

not sure but France would be my best guess
Canada was created by the British North America Act, the formal date of Confederation being July 1, 1867. The the Colony of New Brunswick became the Province of New Brunswick on that date. New Brunswick is one of the four original provinces, the others being Ontario, Quebec and Nova Scotia.
i have back-stokowski 5 albam collection, what are they worth?
This depends drastically for an 1895 on the mint mark, which is on the back of the dime just below the wreath. An 1895-O is the most valuable regularly minted Barber Dime (The 1894-S was a proof strike) and is considered to be the single key date.I would figure that a heavily worn, poor condition 1895-O is still worth $500 and a flawless one can bring over $50,000.Even an 1895-S in poor condition should still be worth $25 or so, with an 1895 with no mintmark worth a bit more than that, this assumes a very low grade coin, nicer ones are worth (Sometimes dramatically) more.More details:Numismedia lists the following approximate retail values as of 03/2010:No mint mark (Philadelphia):Very worn condition - $89Moderately worn - $345Slightly worn - $431Almost no wear - $625Uncirculated - $810 to $22,430 depending on quality"O" mint mark (New Orleans):Very worn condition - $480Moderately worn - $930Slightly worn - $1,530Almost no wear - $3,558Uncirculated - $5,730 to $45,180"S" mint mark (San Francisco):Very worn condition - $44Moderately worn - $125Slightly worn - $178Almost no wear - $340Uncirculated - $540 to $18,850
With gold prices at $1000/oz most of these coins are worth more for their metal content than as collectibles, about $250 with average wear. The only exception would be if the 1881 coin has a small "CC" mint mark on the back; it's worth about $500 as a collectable coin.
