This is a common US commemorative stamp.
If you want to buy just one it will probably cost you from 10 to 25 cents at a stamp store for a used one--
Unused, about twice face.
If you want to order it by mail, you would have to pay postage and handling in addition.
Dealers get them as part of larger lots for almost nothing per stamp- say 65% face if mint and
1/2 cent if used. The money they would charge you for it is mostly for labor.
Although I think it is a nice stamp and I will certainly keep a nice copy for my collection,
if I get any extras, I use the unused ones on letters and give the used ones to kids or anyone else who
asks me for one. I would suggest that you do the same.
Will need more information including the country of origin, I'm guessing Monaco. You can consult a stamp catalogue at your local library to identify the year and condition of the item with an estimated value for it. Post cards are listed as 'back of the book' items in the country of origin. A set of 5 minted stamps issued in 1956 is retailing at USD5.00 on the Internet.

Not necessarily. Most postage stamps that have been used are worth only pennies.Unused stamps are still worth their face value. A unused 29 cent stamp is still worth 29 cents. What makes a postage stamp valuable depends on the following factors:Age: Older stamps are ususally worth more than newer stamps.Certain categories: Some stamps are worth more because of their popularity. As an example; baseball or movie star stamps are worth more.Mistakes: Stamps that have a mistake are ususally worth a lot more.Combination of Age & a Mistake stamp are very valuable.
