If it's actual currency, and it's a defect in the printing, it's possible to be worth quite a lot of money. At MOST, possibly $500. If it's not ACTUAL currency, then it's complete trash.

I don't think I would worry about a bank, you should look for a coin collector in your area. Misprinted money, whether coins or bills, are worth FAR more than the face value.
To a bank, it's worth $5 -- nothing more and nothing less. Find a numismatists's business on the net somewhere, and ask them. Better, ask a few of them.

I think that would be a fake
There is no such thing as a misprinted new 5 dollar bill. People think this because the year on them is 2006, but didn't come out until 2008. 2006 is the series year based on the start of the Treasury Secretary's term. The serial number indicates of when it was printed. Check it out: www . snopes . com/business/money/newmoney.asp
I have seen these selling for around $300 (in mint condition).

No misprinted instant tickets are not worth any money. The ticket will not be worth anything unless it has a winning match depending on the rules of the card.
