as with all things value depends on condition...........if you try to sell to a dealer you would probably get about 70% of true value. best to research value your self and sell at a set price..........your pistol from 1917 COULD fetch $700 and up (condition). I believe your pistol production run may have been for the US Marine Corps. That would make for higher price. get a copy of the BLUE BOOK, it's worth it. Call 800 877 7867

your 1911 pistol was made by Ithaca in 1943. You probably note your slide reads 'colt' but that is because some one in the past put a colt slide on it. That is not unusual and happends often in the military when weaposn are taken apart and put back together causing the parts to be mixed................

value would depend on overall condition. rust, pits, damage, etc.
