Paraffin wax is an external lubricant for PVC, PE WAX if it is non oxidised will give the same or better result in PVC but if it is Oxidised PE WAX then it will act as in Internal lubricant. It is always better to use PE WAX in PVC processing as compared to paraffin wax as PE WAX is of higher melting point and a polymer by it self. PE pellets, or polyethylene pellets, are small plastic granules made from polyethylene, a widely used thermoplastic polymer. These pellets are often used as raw materials in the manufacturing of various products, such as containers, packaging, and toys. They are produced through a process of polymerization and can vary in density and molecular weight depending on the specific application. PE pellets are favored for their durability, chemical resistance, and versatility in a range of industries.
Should not be a problem as the pellets should not begin to melt below about 350 degrees F. At worst, they would melt together into a blob and ruin the item.
Polyvinyl chloride (PVC) pellets are typically produced by chemical companies that specialize in PVC manufacturing, such as Shin-Etsu Chemical, Formosa Plastics, and Vinnolit. These companies use a process called polymerization to convert vinyl chloride monomer into PVC resin, which is then processed into pellets for various applications.
Not all Ty Beanie Babies with PVC pellets are considered 1st editions. While many early Beanie Babies used PVC pellets, the first edition designation typically refers to specific tags and production details unique to initial releases. Additionally, some later Beanie Babies also used PVC pellets, so it's important to check the tag and other production indicators to determine if a particular Beanie Baby is a true 1st edition.
It's not used for making PVC resin, but it is used in processing it - they use it as a lubricant when making rigid PVC articles like pipe.
what is the difference between the PE pipe and HDPE pipe.
The only difference between gray and white PVC piping is in the color. They're both PVC.
If a Beanie Baby contains polyester fiber and PE (polyethylene) pellets, it combines softness and structure. The polyester fiber provides a plush, cuddly feel, making the toy appealing for hugging and play. Meanwhile, the PE pellets give it a weighted, more stable form, allowing it to sit upright and enhancing its overall aesthetic. This combination is typical in many stuffed toys to balance comfort and design.
