It depends on the cars appearance, model, and it's history or what its been thru that determines the cost of the car. if it is a 88' Ford that has no wheels it would be cheap. if it was a car model in the 1800s' or something like that in great condition it should cost more and even more if it was owned by Abe Lincoln or some one famous or if it was the only thing that survived in a nuclear explosion that cost should go up greatly.
The highest price of a production car is $3,000,000. The highest price of an auctioned car is $125,000,222, or at least that's what someone else told me.

It depends on the club. Some antique car clubs do in fact require you to have a car if not multiple cars. Others you do not.

A antique price list can be created in many different fashions. Many are just based on a company and years then have a suggested price depending on condition.
A 1939 Buick would not be considered a new car, but an antique car. The price for a 1939 Buick would greatly depend on the specific model of the vehicle as well as the condition of the vehicle. Provided the vehicle is in good condition and working order, the price could be around $30,000 or more.
