You need to know its condition and mint mark. Check a site such as the one below for a range of values.
Please look at the coin again, no 1902 Morgans exist with CC mintmarks, the last year was 1893.
If your dime was minted in Philadelphia it never had a mint mark, so the mark isn't "gone". Remember, dimes made in Philadelphia before 1980 don't have a "P" mint mark. Please see the Related Question for more information.
Its pure numismatic value depends on its date, mint mark, and condition. Nazi-era 5 mark pieces retail for anywhere from a few dollars to a couple of hundred. However, given its "provenance" as being taken from a soldier during the invasion, its value might be somewhat higher. You'd need to have it examined in person by someone who deals in WW2-era memorabilia to be sure.
In any case it's worth at least $1.10 for its silver content, but depending on the mint mark it still might carry a bit higher price. In worn condition an unbent 1902 dime with an O or S mint mark on the back retails for about $8, while a coin with no mint mark goes for only $2 or so. Bottom line, if there's no mint mark it's worth its silver value; with an O or S you may be able to get 3-4 bucks for it
Like all coins, the value is based on the date, the condition, the mint mark and the demand for it. There is no one value that can be applied to all coins with a specific mint mark.
Value is about $1.00 and JS is NOT a mint mark it's the designers initials, the mint mark is on the reverse. Obverse mint marks were not used on dimes until 1968
