I am searching for this answer also - i have one bit of info to sh are - i own one that is marked plainly with his full name (both) on the sid eof the base - and i have another set that is looking unmarked - but i can see faint bit of the swirls and indentations of his signature on the base where it "should be" because i know what I'm lookign for - so it's definite - & I can't figure it out - but they are definitely his horse head bookends in a wierd metal - copperish- blackish looking and i don't have the signed one rite here with me at the moment - and think the subsequent two seem lighter - but looking down on it in the rite lite - i can kind of see the signature.
