For starters, what do you think the chances are that a British coin would have a picture of America's Miss Liberty? The image is actually that of the goddess Britannia. Second, the inscription is heavily abbreviated Latin and appears on all British Coins (sort of like the way all of ours say In God We Trust and E Pluribus Unum) so that doesn't help to ID it either.
Based on the date, I can at least say there are 2 varieties of penny that were struck that year.
The more common variety has a spacing of about 1mm between the "P" in PENNY and the tip of the trident (the 3-pointed spear Britannia is holding). These are worth about $2 in average condition, maybe $4 or so if only a little wear shows.
The less common variety has a spacing of about 2mm between the "P" in PENNY and the tip of the trident These are worth about $5 in average condition, maybe $35 if only a little wear shows.

The 1875 Victoria Dei Gratia coin, commonly known as the British silver crown, features a depiction of Queen Victoria on the obverse, showcasing her regal profile. The reverse typically displays a shield with the royal arms of the United Kingdom, surrounded by a decorative border. The coin is characterized by its intricate details and the inscription "DEI GRA: BRITT: REG: FID: DEF:" which translates to "By the Grace of God, Queen of Britain, Defender of the Faith." It is made of 92.5% silver and has a distinctive diameter of 38.6 mm.
How Your Profile Can Be UsefulMy profile gives my qualification for supervising the Pregnancy section, which I think is useful as it shows I know what I am talking about. It also states that I am English, and therefore some of my answers use the UK English style of spelling.
