There were two versions of the 5 Cent coin produced in South Africa in 1965 - one with the country name in English ("South Africa" - KM#67.1) and one with the country name in Afrikaans ("SUID-AFRIKA" - KM#67.2 ). The coins are otherwise identical, with a portrait of Jan van Riebeeck on the obverse and a blue crane on the reverse. They were produced from nickel, weigh 2.5 grams, and measure 17.35mm in diameter. 32.7 million of each were produced.
According to the 2010 Standard Catalog of World Coins, the coin is worth US$0.15 in Extremely Fine condition, US$0.75 in Uncirculated condition, and US$1.25 in Brilliant Uncirculated condition. Additionally, 25,000 of the English version were produced in Proof condition - these are valued at about US$0.80 each.

How much can I get for this one?
R100
SOUTH AFRICA and the date of course. Mine is a 1965.
There are a few coins from 1965 that are worth something. It is as follows:1965 1 cent (afrikaans version i.e. says 'Suid - Afrika') - R 2500 ($330)1965 R 1 (afrikaans as above) - R12 000 ($1600)1965 50 cent (English i.e. says South Africa) - R55 000 ($ 7300)
The half cent is no longer legal tender in South Africa. It is worth 0.5 of 1 cent or 0.05 of 1 Rand.

Value of old 1965 20c english
A U.S. 1965 cent (not penny) was minted without a mint mark. It is a common coin. A 1965 Great Britain penny is worth 10 cents if uncirculated.
that's rare you would get about 50pounds for it at auction
Not much. The exact conversion rate changes every day, but at least as of 08/2010 the exchange rate has been roughly €1 = US$1.28, so a 20 e-cent coin is worth about 64¢.
It's still worth 1 cent. Only very high grade (MS-65+) 1965 Lincoln cent coins have more than face value and most of those are only 50 cents to $2.00
