These violins were imported in the 60 and 70s and sold via several outlets most notably Shar instruments. Generally they were good quality shop made German "step up" student insturments. This would be someone's "first" good violin. Their value is not terrific in the resale market and is strongly affected by condition. Generally, these insturments are good student instruments and originally sold in the range of $800 to $1000 depending upon the model. The value of your instrument will depend upon overall condition, and model. It's rare to see the high end models appraise for more than $1000.00 in great condition. With the competition in the student range model of instruments these days, I would not expect it to appraisae any higher than that even if it is in excellent condition. Never the less, they are actually quite good sonically if they are properly adjusted and cared for. I own a Schuseter cello and have been quite happy with it for a very long time. I've played other Schuster instruments fromt he 60's and 70s and find most of them very nice and playable.
Violin 3 is almost like viola, so it isn't very valuable. A solo will up the value, but not by much.
