There are lots of different 8-cent stamps,but I can't think of any that are worth anything,unless yours are over 60 years old. Mint US stamps are worth their face value to use as postage, so use yours that way, if you need postage.

It depends on the stamp. You would need to consult a stamp catalog, identify the specific stamp and look up its value. It could be worth 8 cents in postage if it is unused. If it is used, most dealers would sell you one for 15 to 20 cents, mostly to handle the cost of packaging and inventorying it.
