King George was a common subject on British stamps. It will take some detective work to narrow down the search. Use a catalog online or through your local library to identify the specific item. It will also provide an estimated value.
Also, consider that there were 6 King George's, two of whom appeared on stamps, King George V from 1911 to 1936 and King George VI from 1936 to 1952.
King George IV did not take the throne until 1820 and there was no 1773 British Penny minted.
That's King George VI, and the penny is worth around 25 cents.
Such a coin does not exist. King George V died in 1936 and King George VI died in 1952.
Check your information. I cannot find any Australian King George V or King George VI four penny stamps that are of any colour that could be described as red, crimson, vermillion, lake, scarlet or any other "red" like colour. Australia has only produced 17 different four penny stamps and none of them are red.
