Sir, Ma'am,
I was given the original box the silverplate 50 piece silverware that came in with the original certificate of guarantee as a gift from my mother-in-law.
I am just wondering how much it would be worth to sell.
I also have my great-grandmother's silverware setting in the original case that is over 70 years old. I don't know the manufacturer on that one.
I am just curious regarding the WM. ROGERS MFG. CO EXTRA PLATE setting.
Thank you for your assistance
Mrs. Lori McKnight

The value of this particular plate is dependent upon the condition of the plate, and whether or not it is still in its original packaging. Is it stained with tobacco from cigars or cigarettes? Are there scratches or other flaws on the plate itself? Is the inscription still readable? Is it a signed edition? Do you have the original packaging? The answers to these questions will have a large bearing on the worth of the plate.
