Almost no current circulation cents are worth more than face value. Anything minted after 1982 will be made of copper-plated zinc and has no particular collector value. You have to look for some older coins like a 1960 small-date or 1955 double die cent, but these are extremely difficult to find in circulation because they are so obvious and have been snapped up long ago.
Nice-looking cents from the 1930s and 1940s occasionally turn up in change, and these can be worth a quarter or so depending on condition. To have anything that's worth a reasonable amount you have to find a coin from the early 1930s or before, and usually one with a D or S mint mark.
