To fight for victory and ending segregation at home. It basically was created by Roosevelt during WW2. It stood so it gave a chance for Black Americans to fight in the war so they could achieve Victory at Home and Abroad- (Civil Rights then the war in the Atlantic and Pacific)

No, blacks were allowed to fight in the war. Remember, the Union was against slavery. There were some all African American regiments and some mixed regiments. The Confederate Army even had black soldiers.

The American Revolution was not only the colonies fight to gain independence but the African-Americans largest slave revolt.
Black people were not allowed to fight because the war was over their freedom -edit- They were believed to be inferior.
