Plastic forks and knives (Disposable utensils)
Knives, forks and spoons used for serving and eating food. Despite the name, does not need to be made of silver.
Knives have been around for millennium, it is impossible to know who first made them, or if they even had a name
he was a black smith and that he made silver teapots, knives, forks and spoons, and many other things.
A dagger, sword, necklace, ring, bracelet, pole, forks, spoons, knives, and just about anything that can be made of metal.
I believe the first knives made by smith and wesson were bowie knives. They held a contract with the US military for some time.
They just used regular utensils we use now, such as forks, spoons, knives, pots, and pans, and are usually made of iron and silver.
The very first knife was likely a sharp bit of rock. Since then we added handles, changed blades to metal, changed metals several times, made folding knives, knives with more than one blade, combined knives with tools (Swiss Army Knives. Leatherman), made knives to go on guns (bayonets) made REALLY big knives (swords) and made electric knives (electric carving knives) Some knives are now made with blades that are ceramic- a form of stone. Hey- this is where we started!
knives are made of Carbon Steel
Usually, stainless steel, (or even plastic for disposable cutlery).
Sodium is not used to make knives and forks because it is a highly reactive metal that reacts vigorously with air and water, which can cause it to corrode quickly and form sodium hydroxide (lye). This would make the knives and forks unsafe for food use as the sodium hydroxide could contaminate food. Additionally, sodium is too soft to be a practical material for making durable knives and forks.
