What you can do is call 411 listing (if there is no phone number provided on the tag) and ask for the phone number of the vet listed on the tag. Once you receive the number call the vet and be sure to let them know that you have found the lost dog and it has a tag with the vets company name on it and ask if they can track the owners with the tracking number listed on the tag. Most likely they could and then you should be able to track the owner. If the tags are just regular tags that would have the dogs name address and phone number you can iether take the dog to the address provided or call the phone number to let the owners know you have found the lost pet.
