A quick count of the US Scott listing includes over 200 different varieties. The first was issued in 1847. The most recent was in 2006. Other countries have also issued stamps commemorating our first president.
The US Postal Service has issued many stamps depicting National Parks throughout the United States. So far there are not stamps issued for state parks. It is not likely that there will be, unless there are other reasons for honoring the site, such as it being a battlefield or historical location.

It depends on the issuing authority. The US has not devalued postage stamps since 1862, which means anything issued since then can still be used for postage. Other countries have invalidated stamps as of certain dates or events. Check with you local postal authority for specifics in other countries.
The best way is to consult the USPS web site. They list all of the stamps issued without a value. These stamps can still be used for postage at that value, so other stamps have to be added. They can only be used for US addresses.
