Our mind is a powerful thing.
We have a left and a right brain half. One deals with logic, the other one deal with fantasy and creativity.
In children that are not taught and told to be only logic, there lives a wonderful world of fantasy and fiction.
Anything can happen in this world. Fairy's and Dragons are all for real because we make them real in our creative mind.
Unfortunately, if one spend to much time in this wonderful world of fantasy and fiction as an adult, one get put away and medicated. Unless one explore the world just to write a book for children. If you so do, you can get prizes for being... not logical.
I suppose that is just logical.
As children grow up, their logical brain half so much interfere with the creative brain half and we loose this wonderful world. Some for good, others only for a while, and others just for daytime and they enter it again at night time.
When you loose the ability to see fairy's, then you have lost your childhood dreams and visions completely. This is a most sad moment for most people even if they do not recognize this themselves.
Not being able to see fairy's mean that your logical brain has taken over control, and you will no longer truly enjoy the vividness of creative imagination in dreams.
One should cherish the dreams. Enjoy the moments of vivid imagination.
I am still able to see fairy's. Not when I am awake because I am afraid to be put away in a stretch jacket. At nights however, my dreams come to life. At nights I enter a most wonderful world of facts, fiction and fairy's all intertwined in a most beautiful way.
