With no doubt in my mind, I can safely say that standard comic books are superior to manga. Manga features unrealistic, one dimensional, basically unlikable characters with stories that make very little sense. Unlike comics, manga also employs downright hideous artistic styles with boring visuals and 8 year old girls with double D cups. If you like manga, you are most likely a sex offender who lives in his parents' basement despite being 40 years old. you are saying that right now but if you would like at some real manga books and not hentai then you could see that there are some great manga books and most are more intertaining then comic books.
