There is indeed a collector's edition of the first volume of Death Note, first printed in September 2008, which includes color pages, and a hard cover decorated with artwork specifically created for the special edition.
Death Note: Another Note: The Los Angelas BB Murder Cases is not something that you can watch. It is a spin-off novel from the original Death Note series by nisosin.

Death Note was first serialized as a weekly shonen jump from December 2003 to May 2006. The anime series aired in Japan from October 2006 to June 2007. Three live-action films were released seperately on June 2006, November 2006 and February 2008. A Death Note novel, Death Note: Another Note, The Los Angeles BB Murder Case, written by Nisioisn was released in Japan in August 2006.

The person who writes his name in the Death Note given by the shinigami Midra is likely a fictional character from a story, as there is no widely recognized character named Midra in the "Death Note" series. In "Death Note," the protagonist Light Yagami is known for using the Death Note to eliminate criminals. If you meant a different character or context, please provide more details for clarification.
