Todd McFarlane is best known for creating the comic book character Spawn, which first appeared in "Spawn" #1 in 1992. McFarlane is also widely recognized for his work on Spider-Man for Marvel Comics.
It hasn't "officially" ended yet, but Al Simmons has died (Meaning Spawn has died- He committed suicide by making his head explode.) The comic still runs, albeit with a new Spawn.
As of 2022, there have been over 320 issues of the 'Spawn' comic series published. It is one of the longest-running independent comic book series. Additionally, there are various spin-offs and related titles that expand the 'Spawn' universe.

No spawn is a comic book, he was a guy in a gang and was burned to death, then he became the devils main fighter a.k.a the devils spawn. He now fights demons and is a good guy fighting bad because he will not listen to the devil. :D
