The author was sick and went to the hospital and was on sick leave for a long time, so it went on hiatus. when she finally spoke out. she said she doesn't know when or IF she would continue. So its possible i will not continue...... there was very small hope though when a magazine last month had a card that had a drawing of both Nana's making a yasu snowman, wishing the world happy holidays. but didn't give us any info about the manga continuing :/

When will season 2 come out for Nana?
The manga isn't officially "over," but it's on an indefinite hiatus due to the health problems of the mangaka Ai Yazawa. It's been nearly two years since a chapter was released. Yazawa finally got out of the hospital in spring 2010 after a lengthy stay, but she said at the time that she doesn't know when or if she will ever continue Nana. The public hasn't really heard anything more from her since then. So no one knows when the manga will continue, or even if it ever will. There is no second season, and what you have heard about a second season coming out when the manga is over isn't anything official, it's just the assumption/hope of fans. So even if the manga is eventually continued and finished, that doesn't necessarily mean there will be more Nana anime. So just hope for the author to finish the manga and the anime season to may come out, just be patient. I have been waiting for it for a long time and I am holding my tongue coz I hate stopping in something without an ending. I really want to know what happened. So the second season was said it is out but I not found anywhere and some episodes don't work on u tube. So I think episode 47 is what is out now. Keep hoping it comes out. There is now anime with no manga to begin it.
