Blink (Clarice Ferguson) supposedly killed herself, though this was later proven false, though she did save everyone's lives. Clarice could not properly control her powers, and apparently was unable to teleport anything in an intact form. Instead, any object or person caught in Blink's teleportation field, also known as a "blink wave", would be shredded. She eventually used her abilities to "cut-up" Harvest, a Phalanx entity guarding her and her peers, but apparently was caught in her own teleportation field and died in the process.
That's called an empty threat.
The Half-Way Covenant faced opposition primarily from more orthodox Puritan ministers and congregants who believed it diluted the standards of church membership. Notable figures like Solomon Stoddard, who supported the Covenant, were countered by others who argued that it undermined the original Puritan ideals of a "pure" church. Critics argued that it allowed unconverted individuals to partake in church sacraments, which they saw as a threat to the spiritual integrity of the community.

The first game in the legendary series mainly introduces the covenant- a religious alien alliance that sees the humans will get in their way of the Great Journey, which is to activate halo. But at the same time, the even bigger threat would be the flood- a parasite advancement that was contained by the forerunners but accidentally released by foolish covenant. The flood absorbs all life, and it infects what it kills. So there are two great threats. Oh and an additional note is that the Prophet of Truth is the main deluded leader of the Covenant Empire.

No it wouldn't be defamation of character but it can be viewed as a threat to you and your wife's life. Which could get here in a lot of trouble with authorities if brought to their attention.
A grave threat is a threat made very seriously.
Is a hidden threat that is foreseen to happen or a secrete threat.
The probability of a threat is 1. The threat exists. What is important is not the threat but the probability that the threatened event happens.
